The First Book
Determined to share his discoveries, he earned a degree as a Doctor of Naturopathy and Master Herbalist. In 1981 he opened a private practice in Tucson, Arizona.

A year later he wrote his first book, Natural Healing with Herbs, an instant classic selling over 350,000 copies.

Five Other Books

Five other books followed, two of them best sellers: Food Enzymes: The Missing Link to Radiant Health, which has sold more than 200,000 copies, Intuitive Eating, ProMetabolics: Guide to Health and Healing, Your Body Speaks - Your Body Heals and his most recent The Power of Nutrition with Enzymes

Santillo's industrious and accomplished career as an author and healer had begun, against the odds, in a time when natural medicine was barely gathering steam.

Nutritional Products

Writing books and his experience through his private practice led Dr Santillo to develop dozens of cutting-edge nutritional products. He took it upon himself to educate health stores across the United States on the importance of making these products available to their customers. Nature's Way, Rainbows Lights, The Juice Man, Lotus Light, NSA, National Enzyme Co. and Natural Alternatives, Inc., are just a few of the companies he has been involved with. His latest creation is a nutritional product called Juice Plus+® which is sold in over 21 countries by NSA and it's distributors.
